[Import] Imports of non-mammals into Malaysia

However, don't be complacent just because you can obtain an import permit for Malaysia.
There are limitations to the types of animals that can be transported due to airline rules.
Some people think that reptiles such as turtles and insects are small and can easily be brought on board, but they are not allowed as checked or carry-on baggage on all direct flights between Japan and Malaysia.
It is possible to arrange for cargo flights to transport them, but please note that this is significantly more expensive than carry-on baggage on passenger aircraft.
