[Import] One Cat Arrived in Malaysia
Ms. I recently arrived in Malaysia with their beloved cat!
They traveled via Korean Air, bringing the cat onboard as in-cabin luggage.
Although we had provided a manual in advance, Ms. I was unable to locate the MAQIS (Malaysian quarantine) office upon arrival and ended up leaving the airport without stopping by.
This was likely because the Korean Air baggage claim area is quite far from the MAQIS location, making it difficult to find.
Since cats imported from Japan are not subject to quarantine, the process is relatively smooth—but you are still required to stop by the MAQIS office without fail.
Thankfully, everything turned out fine, and the cat is safe and sound in Malaysia. We're so glad they both arrived safely!
