【Notice】 Closure of Japanese Pet-Related Stores at Lalaport BBCC

Until now, our website has introduced the following Japanese pet-related stores that were located in Lalaport BBCC.

・Puchi Marry Cat Café (inside LaLaport BBCC)
・Japanese Pet Shop Coo & RIKU (inside LaLaport BBCC)

However, based on on-site confirmation, we found that all of these stores are currently closed.
In this article, we will summarize and share the latest information that has been confirmed as of now.

■ ①About Puchi Marry Cat Café (LaLaport BBCC branch)

“Puchi Marry Cat Café” is a popular cat café chain with multiple locations across Japan, and the LaLaport BBCC branch attracted attention as its first store in Malaysia.
The café was originally operated as an in-store café within Coo & RIKU, but it has since closed.

However, Puchi Marry Cat Café has not completely withdrawn from Malaysia.
Currently, another branch continues to operate at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya (IOI Mall Putrajaya).

■ About Coo & RIKU (LaLaport BBCC branch)

The Japanese pet shop chain “Coo & RIKU,” which once operated over 200 stores across Japan, China, and Malaysia, has also closed its LaLaport BBCC branch.

The store was,

• Japanese-brand pet food
• Accessories and pet supplies

and had attracted attention for a time as a Japanese-style pet shop, but it is no longer operating within LaLaport BBCC.

■ Introduction to Puchi Marry Cat Café (IOI City Mall branch)

The “Puchi Marry Cat Café” currently operating in Malaysia is located inside IOI City Mall in Putrajaya.
As an overseas branch of a popular Japanese cat café, it offers a relaxing space where visitors can spend time interacting with cats.
